I also just hatched 3 Lavender EEs. 2 weeks ago. HOpe i have one roo and 2 hens cant tell until about 5 or 6 weeks

They will be a mix of a few things lol.. I have an EE roo and a pure breed Ameraucana roo that have been on my girls. My girls are Easter Egger's, Olive Eggers's, Black Copper Marans, Blue Copper Marans, Barred Rocks and Buff Orpingtons. So these babies will be Barred Eggers, Easter Orpingtons, Easter Marans etc.. lol..

My EE roo is white with rust colored wings and green legs. My Ameraucana is pure white with slate legs. The girls are all different colors.

My Ameraucana roo. I hatched him from eggs I got from someone on BYC.

He is bigger now, this was when he was about 8 weeks old:

Thank you!! Sadly they all had new homes before they all hatched out LOL.. 3 chicks didn 't hatch out. 1 shrink wrapped as I didn't see it's pip (was lower and out of sight) and i opened the incubator quickly to remove chicks and quickly put it back. The other 2 didn't even pip.

Well the 36 eggs that I was locking down this morning has dwindled to 8 and 2 of those are cracked! Last night as I was starring at my hoova bator counting my chickens before they hatch, one of my dogs got hung up in the cords and pulled off of the sewing machine and it crashed to the floor. The bator was fine but it dumped the eggs out. It was horrible! Most of the eggs broke open with 17 day old chicks inside. Not sure if the ones that aren't cracked will make it after the shock but I got them back in quickly and temps have been stable.
I have 16 more going to lock down Thursday out of my cooler bator and am still setting 18 tomorrow for Christmas.
Only four of the eight hatched. I got three OE and one EE X BO mix. The other four didn't pip. I did set 32 yesterday for a Christmas hatch. And I taped the wiring to the wall so it won't happen again. Live and learn!

No more lightbulbs for heat :D Taking out 180w of bulb, and stepping up to 675w of heating elements/ Adding an indicator light and adding another turning rack. Also adding a wafer thermostat to the coolerbator and should have it running full time as a hatcher :)
