Does the day I set my eggs(it will be the morn of the 3rd a monday) is that day one? So I wouldnt add 21 days to the 3rd, I would count the 3rd and add 20 days to that? Is that correct?

I aggre, day one is the day after you set. So the day you put them in will start towards being day one, if that makes scense

When you count it on the calender 1 is the day after you set. Otherwise say ya had a baby you'd be saying your baby is 12 months old and next month is their birthday if you counted the month they were born as 1.

Ok Thanks. So if I set the morning of the 3rd, hatch should be 21 days after that putting it on the 24th Christmas Eve.

I'm setting the morning of the 4th hoping for little presents that unwrap themselves Christmas morning.

Mine always seem to hatch a day early so Christmas eve would be fine too.

Oh yall are sooooo making me want to put a few in for a christmas hatch. But i am doing the NYD hatch. Well i guess i could set a couple eggs on the 4 when i set my duck eggs for nyd hatch maybe 4-5. then id have a christmas hatch maybe. oh what should i do??hmmmm...... Now look what yall have gone and done.

My eggs arrived. They did great. across country shipping and one blew up, two have cracks. But all the rest are in perfect condition.

I have 10 eggs in my incubator.. 5 due to hatch on the 8th and 5 more on the 20th. I am also planning to se more to hatch on New years day Mine are all partridge silkie eggs.
