ouch. Using the controller I'm using, my only bad hatch was the one my kids trashed.

I wanted to cry.But i guess it could of been worse.None could have hatched.I have my fan going nonstop now. I have 3 thermometer in the bator to.So fingers crossed this hatch goes better.

Well my bbs eggs came yesterday. .. in mail 7 days. Fat chance to hatch...so.When i get mad i get stubborn so i bought more from the same lady.Shes shipping in a week maybe the xmas rush will be less and will get my eggs by day 4 of shipping?I hope?

well at least you got them might as well go ahead and give them a go never know maybe those eggs are stubborn to and just might hatch a few

AGH I wish I could find eggs the way you do lol I live in the country have checked craigslist and put out request for fresh hatching eggs and nothing your like the egg whisperer

Oh i put them in last night.....will see. You never know!! Might be a hardy guy in there someplace
Getting more eggs of the same from the lady in a week.
Might be 4 days that time but this 7 was a fluke..... I HOPE!!!

My wife and I gave our son 4 eggs on thanksgiving day, and 4 more on the friday after, the very next day. He has a "crap" still air from TSC and a turner. Never done it before. We have had broody hens and they take 21 days to hatch, plus or minus one. Out of the 8 eggs he had, 5 hatched exatly 15 days later,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,is this normal ??? thats like 7 days early, and they are all doing fine. temp was 99.5.

Not normal for chickens. Maybe they were part incubated from your hens?Takes 20-21 days for an incubator tonce in a while 19 but not 15!!
Yes incubator temp should be 99.5

lol hardly. Drove 5 hrs round trip for bcm & silkie eggs. My girls been giving me 7-10 a day, plus my friend is npip and has jersey giants available constantly.
