Having to catch each and every bird. Fed swabed, state bled and whoever was done first slapped the band onI've been trying to decide whether to go through all of that or not. What was the worst part of it?

so, I candled the eggs I put in the 1588 on the 3rd and the 4th. Eyes!!!! Swimming!!!!!! Shifting!!!!!! in all the ones I candled - we will be grandparents!!!!!!
ThanksWhat about all of the chicks you are hatching. What age do they have to have a band on them? Congratulations on getting certified!![]()
since everything im hatching is coming from my flock, and other npip clean farms they can be banded without direct testing. They gave me registered bands to finish banding the rest myself. Now if i aquire other birds I will have them tested at a seperate location before they are allowed into the flock. Most of what Im hatching now is freezerbound anyways but Ill have pure breeds hatching out for the nyd hatchJust got done with my NPIP testing. Officially listed as a hatchery now![]()

ThanksCongradulations!! Thats great.![]()
and Ive got a whole nother set to move to the hatcher tonight before I crash out hehe
