Setting Eggs 4/17! Who's With Me?

I just found this thread. We have a broody sitting on 6 eggs. Sunday (5/8) is day 21. Do they ever hatch early? We actually have two broodies and I keep stealing eggs from my Java. The Chanteclr has proved herself once before so we went with the sure thing to incubate! I think we're going to give the Java 2 of the eggs to hatch on Saturday.

Uh oh, I just thought of this...do they ever hatch early with a broody?

This is my first batch and I was worried I was letting the humidity drop hand turning 18 eggs. I cut a 18 carton in half creating two squares. I elevated the back edge and turned the whole square a quarter turn a day. Mine are hatching now. 3 out and 5 more pipped!

I hand turned 40 last time ughh that was a pain. I just locked mine down so we shall see it is ee eggs and silkies, brahama, and mill fluers. I have 45 chicks in brooders right now which is lots of work but worth it. I am going to waite and let them feather out more before i list them for sale.
