Setting Eggs 4/17! Who's With Me?

Congrats on the Pips!!!!

We also locked down last night. We are down to 19 eggs left in.

Ok-- ready for lockdown-- question on humidity. What is everyone going for? Is anyone trying the dry hatch method?

We do the dry hatch method. We keep it in the 20-30% range the first 18 days and I try to keep it in the 60-65% range the last days.

Good luck on lockdown, everyone!! Congrats to everyone who's had pips and hatches!!! Only a few more days!!

i have my humidity way up! its like a chicky-sauna! lol

i've been checking the air sacks and they're big so i'm not worried about drowning chicks in their shells.

i've been trying to keep my incubator around the 75% range, adding water as it gets down to the low 70s high 60s.

I hear peeping coming from the bator...this is the most exciting part!!!

Don't worry about the one dragging it's shell...once everything dries, it may just break off ...if not, you can snip the dried cord form the egg!

Well, I went into lockdown last night with 16 .. several of those questionable.

Got a pip about 30 minutes ago ... Mille Fluer D'uccle .. shipped.
