Setting eggs july 13 anyone else setting today, I need a buddy

Well put 5 eggs into lockdown 2 EE's, 2 Australorp, and 1 Maran surprise (because I don't know what color it will be). I added extra water to get the humidity up, hopefully they will all hatch. I quickly candled them before lockdown and all looked good with good air cell space. Here's to happy hatching

im going to have to set my eggs into lockdown a little early because i wont be home. i hope that it dosent hurt them or anything. this will also be my last candleing and then the hard part......WAITING!!!
ill try to keep away from the incubator but i just cant help looking and seeing how they are doing!

I am in lockdown and while watching threw the top I noticed a couple eggs moving a bit. I am getting anxious now I built a little brooder for them and everything is ready to go.

Lockdown started last night (I thought it was Sunday so I was a day early). Tonight I have an early pip! I've never had one pip so early and I'm a little concerned but he seems OK in there so far. Has been pipped for about 12 hrs and I can see his little Polish beak. He's pecking and peeping. No other pips yet. Temp holding around 99.9 and humidity at 68%. I can't stop checking on him every few minutes! This is NOT my first hatch (not even close) and I still act like it's the first one ever.

i keep one checking them though the window and one of them is moving like crazy! non of the others are moving, is this normal? its day 18 today. but when i candle all of them before i put them into lockdown they were moving and looking great. it so hard to wait

wish me luck so i can get my first hatch!

congrats to all with pips and wiggles................ I unfortuntely have neither....

I have one that looks to be bad because it has what looks to be the liquid in egg coming out. I can not see any of them wiggling and when I had done my last candeling they all looked great....

So needless to say I am a little worried because these were my silkies

guess i just need to keep fingers crossed that they are all ok
