Going to try to candle tomorrow, which will be day 3! A little early, but I purposely took light eggs except for my speckled egg which I couldn’t resist, so I’m hoping I can see something in some of them!

I probably won’t candle my broody’s eggs yet…maybe day 5 or so because she only gets off her nest in the morning so it won’t be as dark. She is sitting on 5 eggs, started a day early. I won’t include those eggs in the HAL, as I have no idea how she will do! (But I will post updates!)

Did a quick candle tonight. Saw life in 1-34!

Will probably be another day or two until I can see into 35-38. The yolk looked big and orange (not like a clear one), but they were too dark to see the developing veins yet. It’s only day 3, I’m shocked I could see into the rest of them!

I would like to adopt the first egg considering I’m the oldest cousin on both sides of my parents’ families. Uno for boy or Una for a girl. Unless you say it’s okay to adopt two more.
