Setting Eggs Saturday April 20... anyone else?

How is everyone doing? I candled my eggs two days ago, and thought they were all bad. The eggs werent clear but there were no visible veining that i normally see on day 9. Wrote the BYCer I got the eggs from and she advised me to wait and not toss the eggs. I listened and candled again tonight. 7/14 show definite development on day11. So glad I wrote her and heeded her advice. Fingers crossed for continued development.

Candled again... i think i have two more that have stopped developing. One looks like a def blood ring, the other just looks ... well... looks clearer than the rest. Left them both in to see what happens..... so that leaves me with 10... still good and some of them i can actually see moving around.. so cool... Hubby gets grossed out by that.. but I think its neat....

I've been candling the odd egg here and there all week. So far they look good. Will candle all tomorrow night and record findings. Crossing fingers!

I love candling eggs and seeing movements. I think around day 15 is best as you can see them kicking. On day 18, I rarely see movements as there is hardly space to move around. If the egg is all dark, it goes to lockdown.

Candled again tonight and I have another one that looks like a quitter. It doesn't look as dark as the others, but they're all the same shell color. Kind of wishing I hadn't tossed the one last week with what looked like a faint blood ring, so I'm leaving this one in until day 18. How is everyone else doing?

Didn't get to candle last night.. but definitely will tonight... tried a bit ago,but its just to light out....

my temp seem to be running rather low.. not sure what the issue is. I seem adjust it to go up a little every day. I thought it got hotter in there as the chickies grew??

what are you all running at?

I have 10 out of 15... not bad for shipped eggs. My last try was a bust so I am super excited....!!!
