Lockdown on Friday. Out of the original 20 I started with, 4 were infertile and one was cracked, so there will be 15 eggs due on Monday. My four year old nephew is spending the weekend just to watch them hatch in the "elevator," so lets hope my first hatch goes well!

not long to hatch day now, can't wait for halloween lol, I think my names are going to be themed, for any hens that hatch out, but knowing my luck the 3 eggs that are let will probably turnout all cockerels

Lockdown is later today.

I'm beyond nervous at this point. I'm trying hard to be optimistic, but until I see those fluffy little darlings I won't be anything other than a wreck!

today is day 19 and the official start of my lockdown! I have other eggs in the bator so I wanted to turn them one last time before I shut it up for 2 days. I hope to have an earily peep tomorrow and then 8 peeps by sunday night! Wish me luck!
