setting eggs tomorrow.... 3-21-12 who wants to join?

having a turner is cool....the only reason i don't have one is because my bator is a homemade on an icechest and the turner doesn't fit, if it did more than sure i had already bought one.....

.....too much of a hasle to do it manually, especially if you are on a hurry and you need to turn 60+ eggs

since i will have mine on a "no turn" policy for the first couple days, i was hoping maybe you would tell me how you do it, and then convince me your ways better and i would turn them by hand the rest of the way and take the turner out... LOL just a day dream. i wish the turner was only like a dozen big. so it wouldnt take up the whole bator.... ugh!

yeah...I would love to convince you that my way is better, but I have heard that hatch rates are better with a turner.

Also, I am only dealing with 6 eggs this time, so there is really no need for me to have a turner.
I will take a picture tonight so you can see.

This is definitely the longest I've gone in incubation without candling the eggs. It definitely helps that they're at my son's preschool, and I have extremely limited access to them.

everything is good down here in south texas.....one thing did happen today.....out of the 71 eggs i set in my fridge bator, i already took out 14 of them because they started piping....they weren't due till the 29th if i remember correctly......good thing i had at hand the 2nd bator i have on lockdown with my black sexy lingk/jersey giant eggs which is also piping so i set them 14 eggs in there with their humidity at 75% hopefully they do well ....crossing fingers...........
