My olive egger hatched and it just looks like a blonde chick...lol My other Polish is zipping, but being very slow, other Polish is still a pip

Yes my hen is a white crested blue Polish. Her egg just hatched and the chick so far shows no crest

and its solid brown, so I am confused. But I have 2 more pipping

My second Polish egg hatched, it is brown like the 1st one and no sign of a crest. Still have one pipped!

Here are 7 of 9 babies...2 are still in the bator drying up, had to assist them, 1 needs a bath, 1 got a bath to get the rest of his shell off because it was stuck on him...2 eggs to check later for life...

The are so tiny compared to everyone else...I have one austrolorp that is HUGE!! He was the 1st one I had to assist yesterday...out of this hatch I had to assist 3 chicks!

Good Morning Everyone,

For me it is day 21. 9 out of 12 of my eggs pipped between yesterday and this morning. I have been up all night. Its been a long night. So far I have 5 babies hatched in the incubator!!! They all hatched between 9 last night and 3 this morning.

I have one pip that was on the pointed side of the egg. He has been that way since yesterday at noon. I was really worried about him but about 30 minutes ago he started to zip. He is about half way through. I sure hope he makes it.

I have another pip that has been there since 9 yesterday morning. No movement yet. I hope he does ok too.

Yay!! Congrats on your babies!!

For the pip that happened at 9am yesterday, you may want to start zipping for him and check that he is alive...I lost 4 eggs total...one was a pip at the wrong end...
