Setting eggs tomorrow, anyone want to join?

I'm pretty sure I caught it well before the 15 minute mark both times so fingers are crossed. I'll candle again tomorrow and again on Friday...I hope I can candle that much too, I'm super careful and quick and I always wash my hands before touching the eggs

Hopefully you're good then.

I don't think there's a limit to how often you can/should candle...

We don't name until after they hatch if we name at all. Sometimes the grandkids help name them

yeah, they have imaginations which are fun and simple.
Might have been fun to draw faces on the eggs and name them for an Easter hatch day

I think I will wait until hatching to name mine...too sad if they don't hatch otherwise and it's already going to be depressing if none hatch! I will probably cry.

I know...I'll get there...It's just this is my first try and I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to my animals...

I have a stump in the pasture upon which I throw and break the bad eggs when it's time to do so. The free ranging flock think it's the best thing and the turkey hens are learning that speed is the name of the game with those chickens so they use their longer necks and height to snatch what goodies they can because the chickens act like it's walmart on black friday.
