Hey Jaboo - I've never heard of Ardenaisses. Are they a mixed breed? I tried to Google them, but didn't turn up with much.

I set my eggs yesterday morning.
They are 10 polish bantams and 2 tolbunt polish.
I am expecting them to hatch on Feb 2nd.

yay!! I actually set mine Christmas Eve! They are do in a bout a day or two! But I'd love to see the progress!

I just borrowed an incubator from a friend. Hopefully I can get it set up this week and try it out. I have approximately 60 in my flock. Ameracuanas, Barred Rocks, Rhode Island Reds, Production Reds, and several Heinz 57. My younger ones were hatched early October and will hopefully kick in production around April. Looking forward to experimenting with hatching.

Well I'm in!!

I actually just switched 28 eggs in the hatching bin and set 12 bbs ameracauna eggs a few minutes ago. I will officially go into lockdown in a little over 12 hours.

so I am guessing my hatch date for the bbs on feb 5th early am!! I have a sportsman 1502 that was an early xmas gift to my self!

What types of bators does everyone else have? we also have a bunch of eggs in lockdown on another thread which is where my current lockdowns are posted if ya'll wish to stop in and take a peek on progress! with lots of blessings should be overflowed with lots of fuzzy peepie pics in a few days!!

It is "setting eggs 12/27 anyone else!!!!!!! I hope everyone has good luck on this hatch!!!

hi guys!

I'll probably be hatching at the around the same time as you all will be! I set duck eggs & guinea fowl eggs on the evening of the 11th... and I joined the groundhog day hatch thread! I'll keep popping by to see how you are all going. Look forward to seeing a bunch of new fuzz butts come into the world.

Candled today on day 11 and i cant see a thing in the maran eggs!, i do have 1 white egg that i know isnt a maran and i candled that and i could see a baby wriggling around i orderd 12 mixed maran eggs on line and i recieved 9 maran and 1 white egg :/ going to be a surprise when that one hatches and i love surprises. =D

set 20 rir/colden comet mix eggs on jan. 2nd and going to set 12 more eggs this afternoon .. they are 6 ee.. 3 rir..3 barred rocks ..both sets of eggs are in 2 diferent homemade cooler/bators.. this afternoons set will be my 3rd hatch...my 1st hatch i set 9 eggs and only 4 hatched...now i got 4 lil health chicks
