Setting humidity in incubator?

I ended up with 19 chicks, could have had more but i made a few mistakes in the final few days. Humidity and temp was all over the place. Shrink rapped chicks from opening incubator to get chicks out, fan did not help either for that. Today i emptied and cleaned the bator. 7 Chicks fully formed in eggs that never internally pipped. Of the 29 viable eggs from the begining i had a 65% hatch rate in the end. Which isnt to bad for my first time and shipped eggs.

That's great for shipped eggs! Congrats!!

And personally, I am from the side that says opening the bator to take out chicks does not shrink wrap the others, as long as you maintain humidity, or it recovers quickly.

Which incubator are you using? Have you filled all the wells?

yes I have put extra well with water
