Setting my eggs tonight (April 10) Any tips?

So do you guys think I should crack open the eggs? (I just contacted the breeder- she said that if no eggs make it she will replace the eggs free of charge)

Gonna pip the air sac on two eggs and see what happens.

I dont know... I don't want to srink wrap them, but I don't see them rocking or anything.... no movement, sound, nothing.

Im in the same boat..had one that pipped last night, then stopped...fully developed but dead.. A second one that pipped hasn't done anything else..
Nobody else is rockin or doing anything else. Humidity has been between 63-78 and temp has been right at 100.5 I have no clue.. I cant believe that non have made it..Tomorrow at 0700 will be a full 21 days in the bator. Im gonna give em till tuesday and see what happens. This is so tuff

what is the humidity with both wells filled and vents open? It is important to have enough ventilation at the end during hatching so there is enough oxygen when the chicks pip...

I'm so sorry about ur eggs/chicks.

all I can say is what I did

Remember I built my 'bator out of an old cooler, I have no directions. Maybe u should throw the directions away (with all this fill the wells stuff, they can't just say that, they don't know anything about each area it will be kept)

I say get a therm/hygrom that tells u the high lows of temp and hum. and range it in the right area. heck with the direstions
days 1 -18 my temps low was 97 my high 102, my humidity ranged from 30-45% and I had 3-4 holes open (each hole is 1/2 inch Diam.)
days 18+ I kept my temps the same, and up'd the humidity to 64% or a little higher. I added about 1/2 c HOT water when it got down to 64%. what ever it went to it went to. THEN when I noticed a pip I opened 2 more vent holes in the end where the eggs were, for oxygen. I up'd the humidity to around 70% sometimes it went higher to like 85% but be carefull too much humidity is NOT a good thing. NEVER did I have so much humidity that my glass got all wet. When I put my finger through one of the holes, I could feel moisture/wetness on my finger. When they hatched I watched them for panting and I knew that the oxygen level was lower so I opened another plug. What ever I did, I did something right. I don't have a clue what went on with ur eggs/chicks. I feel so bad.

I had a problem with 1 of my chicks being ummmmmm sticky, not shrink wrapped, It didn't fluff up good cause the fluff was pasted to it. This one that had the problem was one of my first 5 to hatch. the humidity was lower (like 64%) so I kept it a tad higher. some times I flake off that first little pip when I see that its to small for a good amount of oxygen to get in there. I want to know that that chick is getting oxygen. it's not going to shrink wrap that easy. Just ADD hot water when ur in there.

other than that

During lock down in my hovabator 2362, which has two vents I kept open, I had both wells full AND two mugs of water to keep humidity in the 60-65% range. In my genesis 1588, which has one vent I kept closed during this incubation and the center well kept it in the 42-47% range. The hovabators have little ventilation holes all along the bottom. The top vent(s) are about 1/2" in diameter and are supposed to be used in high altitudes and drying chicks after hatch. It seems most of my chicks weren't lost at hatching. I had 3 hygrometers and 4 thermometers. Temps never went above or below 99.5-100.5 the genesis has a preset temp regulator.
