Thanks Eastin, how's the weather in MI. Wish I could go to Greek town in Detroit! I miss it.

Oh, I love Greek Town too, such a long drive, though.

The weather wasn't too bad today... A little rain, but not too cold. I do admit, the rain was kinda inconvenient, though, considering I went to an outdoor poultry auction... I picked up a LOVELY Blue Orpington roo for olny $10!!!!!!!

I am in need of new books, anyway........
Detroit also has some AMAZING deep-dish pizza joints downtown. I'm not a huge fan of pizza, but my GOD, I could live in one of those parlours and NEVER complain.

Oh, I have a question for you guys....

I am building a chicken medical kit and I was wondering if iodine is safe for chickens...
Also, there are NO vets that will accept chickens in my area, so if one ends up needing stitches, how will I treat it?

I used to "know" the guy who started Pizzapapolis in greek town. Great seafood pizza, but this was in the 80's. I'm dating myself. Wish we had good pizza in New Mexico. Have to settle for green chile enchiladas.

Hmmmm... Do chickens eat green chile peppers? Wonder what the eggs would taste like? I'll have to plant some this year.

Lockdown countdown,,, Sun, Mon, Tues, WEDNESDAY!!!!!!!

I know folks who have iodine on hand, but the stitches I'm not sure about. Try asking in the emergency section. Someone might be able to shed some better light than I can.
