Yayyy! I am so excited for you and they are way to cute! Now I am EVEN more excited for mine to hatch...day 19 and it has been the longest 1 day of my life, lol

Yay! The mail-order companions for my hatching eggs just arrived! They're peeping away - hoping it encourages my eggs to hatch. If they can hear them through the incubator walls

Have two external pips. One on the cochin egg, and one quail. Haven't heard peeping or had the eggs move so I dunno

Mine are due tomorrow...I was bad and candled them last night, so I know all four are still alive in there. Just waiting on them now. They need to HURRY, since I have 20 more Serama eggs coming tomorrow and then will be getting 25 from Lousiana next week! These babies will need to be out of my incubator fast. *serves them an eviction notice*

You gotta follow the rules - you don't want your chickies getting hurt for it in the long run do ya?...

Think of it this way, its kinda like the situation we have here at my house with our choc lab, he's 12 now & my parents (& me some) feed him alot of ppl food over thy yrs & it tends to make him fat (go figure) too fat, now he's around 85 which is good for him, it'll cause him to live longer if we can just resist his cute face & not feed him!!! for his own good & b/c we want him to live as long as possible!!

Well it looks like I am going to have just 1 chick this time.

Of my 2 remaining eggs , I just candled them and 1 looks like it quit about day 16 or 17. The other one is totally dark except for the air cell. I did the float test and there was no movement at all. I put them back in the bator just in case, but I don't have much hope of getting anymore chicks.
