I set 30 silkies on the 19th, 7 silkies and 30 mixed mutts (2 of those are silkie/EE mixes) on the 21st.

OK, SO I CAVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I put 6 light sussex eggs and 6 welsummer eggs in this morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I couldn't stand waiting another day, so here we go................first ever hatch in a bator................

Ok everyone.. Just a small update from me... As you know, i set 36 eggs yesterday.. So far, the lowest the temp has gone was 99.1 and the highest was 100.8 .... During the day, the temp stays stable between 99.7 and 100.2 so I'm not going to mess with it.. I've been adding a syringe or two of water when needed to keep the humidity between 32 and 40 (most times right about 35) and Have a little chart next to the bator so that when I turn them, I just put an X under that turn.. Have turned them 8 times already and shooting for 5 turns a day...
