Just did a egg turn (I do it by hand) and then watched the eggs start rolling on their own! Love knowing little babies are getting into position! Lock down in the morning!! So excited! Better study on how to post pictures on here! Good luck everyone!

How many eggs does everyone have going into lock down tomorrow?

What are you going to set your humidity at/ and why?

Does everyone set humidity according to air cell placement?

I am curious..and every bit of knowledge helps me.

1 0f the eggs have hatched with my help and having problems the other was shrink wrapped dead. I feel so bad at myself for letting the humidity drop so low. I know better but I was half sick and so very tired last night. I fell asleep. The others are doing great . Gloria jean

Update...Day 8-9
I started out with 14 Millie Fluer eggs and 3 Barnyard Surprise.
After 5-6 days I had 2 millies with no developement and one blood ring.
2 Barnyard Surprise had no develpement.
All remaining eggs have bouncing baby blobs.

I will candle tomorrow as I remove the eggs from the turner into lockdown to determine final number. I haven't random candled since Day 7 and Day 10. I don't like to handle my eggs much during incubation. I think they have a better chance the less they are handled.
Day 1-18, I keep the humidity at 50% + and then Day 18-21, I raise my humidity to 60% + for hatch....I add a small wet sponge if necessary. I do this based on what I've researched online and my own experience of what has worked well in the past and yielded the best hatches.
Hoping for at least 70-80% hatch rate......

Gloria Jean, you still had a great hatch. Celebrate the birth of those cute babies! Incubation is such a delicate process, don't beat yourself up over the losses. Still, I know it is sad to lose any.
