What am I?
I have thought all along this tan colored chick was a female, but today her comb is getting red and the rust color in her wings is telling me roo...

This is my Silver Laced Wyandotte, pullet or roo?

Going by the comb, I think the EE is a pullet. Roosters have three lines of bumps on thier combs, and hens one line. The SLW looks like a roo to me.

Both ees and SLW can be tricky, reason being the ee's hackle feathers are pointy, even on girls. I had one that I swore was a male, thicker legs and bigger than the others, turned out female. The SLW can be tricky because their combs get so big so fast. I posted pics when mine were 5 weeks and was told both were boys. At 7 months, they had huge bubble eraser looking things on their heads, and both were female. lol

ETA: the slw has alot of white on his wing all in one spot, and stands very upright, I would guess a roo.

I think your slw is a boy.

I see what you mean about the darker color on the wing on the ee, but everything else looks girl to me. Would you be so kind as to post pics of her (?) in a month or so?

The only thing that would make me say "boy" for the EE is the pinkness of the comb, pullets don't usual get any pink on their comb until thy are at POL.
