Hi! Could really use some expert chicken advise!

This is one of the chicks I hatched from an incubator. I was told most incubator chicks are male.

Any idea what sex this sweet little chick is???

We would love to keep it if it's a female. Our city doesn't allow roosters.

Also, any idea what type of chick this is? We assume some sort of bantam? It's tiny and has feathered feet.

Any insight would help!

Thanks :)

Welcome to BYC! How old is the chick? Can you post some more pics of it from different angles. This will help. As far as incubator chicks being male, there is no proof of that. If it is the only hatchling, I would recommend getting it a friend or two.

Hope someone can help you identify.

Yes, as asked above, how old is the bird? That is information to be considered in gender evaluation. What type of comb does it seem to be developing?

Sorry the pics on my iPhone are looking super low quality. I'll upload more when I get home!

See the yellow part running up from the beak? Does your bird's comb look kind of like these?

also, how many toes does it have and what color are it's legs?
