i first want to thank some of you for your help with my first emu hatching. i have had one more hatch about a hour ago and one more that will be ready soon. but i my question is how can you tell the differents with a boy and a girl and a early age? i will get some pic of the three when they are all in the brooder box together.

I sent in part of the membrane from the shell to have it DNA tested, to find out the sex. I think that is the only 100% accurate way, at this young age.

You can vent sex them just like a chick or look at head: bullseye boy no bullseye girl. That's only about 75%
