Anyone have any advice on how to sex Lavender Orpington chicks. Had a few hatch the other day and the suspense is killing me!!

How long ago is/was "the other day" - their age, in weeks, will determine which characteristics are most reliable in sexing them.

I was afraid of that. I've been all over google and it was post from years back and they all were on older birds. Just wasn't sure if I was missing something. Roughly what's a good age to be able to tell?? Beside when they start laying or crowing lol.
Depending on the individual bird, 4-6 weeks generally is when a good idea can be had though some take longer and some cockerels start walking around with "in a boy" signs earlier
