Funny though don't you think. People have been keeping chickens for thousands of years and it has only been recently that much has been done to study much more than how to buther them and make them produce more eggs.

Not very surprising though. Back to what I posted some pages back - it is easier to mistreat something you think of as ‘lesser’ in some way.

The hen I want to have a look at is behind the highest Legbar.
I need to give her some eye drops.

It does give a better idea of how dark it is when some hens are still eating and drinking which is what I wanted to show.

People don't usually think what the homeless and animals desperately need. They are so selfishly wasteful
