Yes, we have long ago gotten used to "everything all year" food. It wasn't that way when I was a kid. If it didn't grow locally at "that" time of year, you didn't eat it because you couldn't buy it. Guess I'm old.
It wasn't like it is currently when I was a kid either. Guess I'm old too.
 
It snowed a bit; just enough to make life more miserable than the cold and wind alone.:rolleyes:

I once met someone in a farmer's market not far away (Mediterranean climate) looking for mangoes (tropical climate) and in a hurry. I suggested trying a supermarket because local farmers can't grow tropical fruit but he doubled down on his certainty and kept looking :confused:
