Wow, that is a beautiful pair of chickies!Hahaha, he is named after the penguins from the Madagascar movie. They were Rico, Skipper and Kowalski. I just have Skipper (hen) and Kowalski now. Rico the brother went to his own flock and from all reports is a very spoilt rooster with a doting flock owner.

Three more courgettesFrench beans, an onion for tomorrow, some rocket and mixed salad, we ate the ripe raspberries and I brought home half a kilo of blackcurrants. I guess this means I'm going to have to make a crumble or something. That means more cooking.
Fret seems fine; grumpy and wanting some dry ground for a bath. Not much chance of that for the forseeable future.

17 weeks. Certified Cockerel. Very heavy and reacts visibly to a fake crow. He's attempted to mount a hen once (and failed). Crows loud and clear every morning.The one that crows
