Shadrach's Ex Battery and Rescued chickens thread.

I really liked her she had the size and body of a silkie but thinner body blue in color sweet little bird think the first heat wave we had took her.
I realized I posted the wrong picture of the little blue girl. She is the smaller bird in the middle.

Sunday init.:p Day orf an all that.
I know, it's not chickens but I bet you can't find another thread with dubstep features.
It's Non Stop again doing something more poppy and dance. I prefer the heavy dubstep but I think he makes a fair job of it.

The main pair Non Stop and Poppin John.

I prefer trains to planes.
I could just see myself doing a train stop holiday on the Orient Express.
Yes! The Orient Express is on my bucket list.

I also prefer train to plane. Pre-pandemic I took the slow train up the west coast from Rome to Turin. Stayed there for a week, then trained across to Milan, changed trains, up through Switzerland to Mannheim, changed, then up to Cologne. It was a lovely day's travel.

I fancy the Orient Express too - though I think it is very different now.
In my wayward youth I travelled all over India by train. Experience of a lifetime. It helped to be a woman as there are (or at least were) women only ticket booths and carriages which were generally less crammed.

I can't comment on all your points, but I believe migrating fish species like salmon have been provided for in hydro schemes for a long time (fish ladders) and is in a continuous improvement cycle in big research projects (IIRC, ETH developed a sort of filter to prevent salmon swimming into danger and encourage them to go around the hydro plant).
Yes and no. Yes there are ladders, they still drastically reduce the number of fish that make it. Lots of issues with all forms of electricity production used today.

I wish that America had a train system similar to Germany. When I lived there I never felt the need to drive anywhere.
At least the USA can have the excuse of it's size. The UK doesn't have any excuses. Perris mentioned earlier that London had a good public transport system and from what little recent experience I've had I would agree with them.
This is part of the British political problem. As far as the politicians are concerend the UK is London and the South East.
