Wow!When I was 1st on the island I had a hawk kill as it flew under my moving car. They really are amazing aerial gymnasts.
It was an EH Holden ~ a bit like this one.Heck what type of car to have one fly under would be amazing..

Be careful. The hawk that attacked my hen on Sunday was also back yesterday morning. Even though the chickens were locked in they went into panic mode.
Here the crows warn us when birds of prey are flying around and now the hens are panicked when they see or hear the crows : they associate it with the attack.
Hawk payed a visit for the fourth day in a row. Ladies aren't happy about being kept penn bound.Interesting. Mine seem to speak crow and differentate when crows are just about the place (often but not every day) vs when the crows are engaging with hawks. When the latter the ladies run for cover, they ignore the former.
What is interesting (well to me at least) is that I have become more able to differentiate between the crows shouts as well - so we are all learning!
