What breeds go with each color? I love the variety!Ginger laid her first egg today. Pretty little brown one on the top. We’ve been alternating between snow and rain all day so some eggs are dirtier than usual. Cannonball’s egg (the one on the bottom) was unusually light colored. Hers are usually a dark green with occasional speckles. Goldilocks was checking out the nesting boxes while I was out there, so I expect that she’ll be laying soon as well. Both Ginger and Goldilocks are approximately 21 weeks.
And a little tax. I haven’t paid up in awhile. The girls were enjoying a dry run & 45 degree day yesterday! What breeds google you each color? I love the variety!
The smaller green egg is an EE, the larger green one is an OE. The bigger brown one is a Maran. I get a pinkish egg from my SS, tan from my Dominique and Wyandotte cross. If my Sultan crosses ever decide they’re going to lay, they’ll lay white. What breeds google you each color? I love the variety!
(It was “go with” each color). Sometimes autocorrect is auto-incorrect!The smaller green egg is an EE, the larger green one is an OE. The bigger brown one is a Maran. Sill is so desolate. I started out as a 13F.I have been to Beckley and Bluefield is where I in processed to the Army before going to Fort Sill for basic training. I am very familiar with that part of the country. My dad hauled coal throughout the region and during summer I would ride with him.![]()
