Does he pull Skeksis feathers ?
I would be afraid of Skeksis if I was Mr Bumblebee!
He does now. He is still smaller than her though.

I would never have imagined before getting a rooster, that their relationships and mating with the hens would be so complicated. For the better and the worse.

Théo had been behaving himself for the last days but yesterday evening he was a real pain with the ladies. Whereas he used to jump on them from behind by surprise, now he grabs them by the neck and and pulls until he can hop on. I think he is too small and he just hurts them without getting anywhere. I decided I would separate him : he decided he wasn't having it. He is very agile so once he understood what was going on I couldn't catch him or herd him. I did check on the two hens he was going after and they didn't seem too badly hurt but they were kind of shocked.

It's strange that he doesn't have at all the same behaviour with Chipie, the bantam. She is still his true love and he protects her most of the time, but now he's going after the Ex-batts he doesn't mate her anymore.

So I guess I will have to trick him with food to put him in the coop or in the small pen. His weakness unfortunately is sunflower seed which has become way more expensive with the current events 🙄.

I cut off the part above the heel, so I can just slip my feet in without having to do laces or bend over or whatever.
So what happens if you have to scramble down the side of a mountain? Do the slippers stay on?:p

This boots business is I grant you a bone of contention between a great many couples I believe. I've has some personal experience in the matter.:D

Apologies, it's the second time I'm making a fool of myself with a wrong translation. I will never mock Emmanuel Macron's English again. In french a "moteur thermique" is one that works with gas and I didn't think translating thermique to thermal would make it sound like some warm jacuzzi in a wheel barrow.

Thanks! I'm guessing from Google both motorized or track borrow would do.

Mud ? What is this?
It depends on the model. Ours does great on slopes, it's small, slow, not very powerful but very tractable (and almost 30 years old) whereas my stepfather's is bigger and faster but not as reliable on steep terrain.
It's extremely useful to us, not only to carry all kind of materials but also to bring small but heavy engines where we need them on the property like the wood chipper or the tiller ( hope I'm using the correct terms 😬). I can't imagine how we would have brought the lumber for the roof without it from where we parked the truck.

In steep terrain it does need to be driven by someone strong enough to hold it back if it starts tumbling, which isn't my case.

Let me put this into context.
The reason I have this rule is because my partner NEVER takes off his damn french army rangers in the house.
He would probably even wear them in bed, if he could.
Since I'm not sure if people outside France have the equivalent of this very french boot I will post this tax where you can zoom on his feet.

My DD and SS both have army boots just like these. They bought them to camp with the (water) scouts. .
Glad they didn’t sleep with them. ;)
And we always had a rule in the house since we moved to where we live now. Take off your shoes when entering. Because when we moved into this house there was sharp sand all around the house and bo paving at all.
We liked the clean house do much , that we never changed this rule (except for respectable and older people).
