Tried one more time to delete this horrible filter but it still isn't showing up and didn't even have the edit this time.I remember how you very wisely gave me the downside of keeping battery hens. I honestly really appreciated that but there's usually a BUT isn't there?
I'm struggling right now with pain and not being as agile as the rest of some of us chicken carers BUT if I can continue I feel after all the wonderful thoughts and ideas I have been having I would still want these beautiful little battery girls if I can possibly manage it.
Tina isn't the most trusting of friendliest chickens I have had but seeing her darting around in all kinds of weather enjoying her ventures in my crummy garden, gives me so much pleasure.

I dearly loved Agatha even though I feel that I failed her miserably by not knowing how too keep her alive but as you said Shadrach many die because of being overly used.
Since losing her I have learned a little more and Tina really has bennifited thanks too my friends here like @RoyalChick @BY Bob and my sweet @Ponypoor and last but not least the knowledge you've planted in my thick head
Flexi wasn't a battery and she was such a huge character, her and Agatha were best friends I miss them both but im happy I had the honour of keeping them![]()
