I have around 70 chickens and a couple dz turkeys. I go through 4 five gallon buckets made with 2 gallons of dry feed. Depending on forage availability.

I believe it was a 1/4 teaspoon of RP per chicken.

No doesn't look like that exactly. Not red. I believe they are a light color flowers against the stems. I will have to think about it.
I know they are perennial and difficult to dig out.

Are the flowering stems square? If not then it’s not motherwort as that’s in the mint family & they all have square stems & tend to be aromatic

I just looked and last years is square. I can't tell what it smells like, long covid and everything smells like a petroleum product or nothing most of the time.

Three and a half hours this afternoon.
Mostly digging my plot between the fruit bushes with lots of help from the chickens.
It sayed dry until I left to walk to the village bus stop. It's chucking it down now.
Dig caught a hard peck from Henry and has blood down his hackles again.

I have several hens that do that to a turkey. One coop has a turkey hen that tries to run everyone off the roost . She gets confused when they try to get under her.

Guess we’ll just have to wait for flowers to find out what it is. Flower colour can vary but their shape & what 5he flower spike looks like are pretty consistent. Wouldn’t rule it out yet…
