I cleaned out the wet/saturated straw today, putting the compost underneath into new raised gardening beds. I'll plant them in the Spring.

I took out about 6" of compost by the door. I then raked out more straw from the run and loosened the next couple feet of packed soil.

I confess. I had to look up logorrheic.
I feel slightly better about that as it is a relatively new word - 1892ish.

Thanks Sally. Looking it up didnt help instantly and one hand for typing and holding a phone is too difficult to dive into a swimming pool of words. So to speak.

I heard it in a lecture, and the lecturer explained the meaning.

Everybody lived despite my absence.
From what I can gather they got out the coop run for one hour once, in six days.
Carbon looks pretty grim. I know we've been here before, but once again I think this moult might kill her.
I think some, probably the adults with Henry, have spent their nights on the extension roost bar. They used to roost like this in the old coop during the summer.
