I don’t want to derail Shad’s thread but as a couple of you seem interested here are some more pictures. The screen is my ‘hippy curtain’ which provides me and the chickens some shade and hopefully a bit of hawk protection/distraction. As you can see the chickens pass under/through it without hesitation.I'll have to look into a rain chain. The side of our front door gable drops water right at one of the picture windows and it sometimes gets inside since they are the old fashioned double pane kind.

I really like how poofy Cream is there in the back. Perfect timing as she shook off.
Will there be a rush of applicants to be inspectors from the acid generation.
Three hours of not doing much apart from soaking up the rays and watching chickens. I did make a start on weeding the herb plot. Henry was over to join in the digging as soon as he noticed what I was doing. Unfortunately for both of us none of the hens looked impressed by our efforts. Tull had a look and decided there was nothing worth breaking into a sweat over in the ground we dug. Last seen trying to get the last of the over ripe raspberries off the bushes.
