For those of you who do woodwork and have electric tools such as routers and electric planes etc, the pictures below should provide you with a good laugh.

My secret woodworking tools. That's a Morris Devon Bill Hook. You can hit it with
a sledge hammer. A Silki saw. It really does work pulling rather than pushing if you want a straight cut.

I love woodworking tools....probably because of the air of craftsmanship they have about them. I have some of my grandfathers hanging up in my shed.

It is extremely unlikely there will be any arts and crafts fairs in my region this year.
Also, I haven't taken pictures of individual lamps as a record. I thought I would post pictures here of what I have made that I would show at this years fairs if any were held.
This lamp is called Stripe.

Rough sanded and sides part cut. I plan to put an insert into the slots, but have most of the slot showing. So far about 8 hours work.

This lamp is called Error.
The tube that carries the electrics has a very unlikely kink in it.

This lamp is called Picot. The engraving is of a Picot Negra which is a red headed woodpecker we get here.

I'm experimenting with some copper filings atm. I'm also looking at other compounds I can mix to provide colour.
