That's not an egg cup Shad, that's an egg pedestal!I'm rather fond of boiled eggs with Marmite toast soldiers.
For some unknown reason the people who design and produce egg cups all seen to come up with round tottery things that fall over at the slightest provocation. They also insist on making a half cup. Anyone who has chickens knows eggs come in all shapes and sizes.
I have bantams here and their eggs just rattle about in the usual style egg cup so I invented something more practical.
This has worked really well for most size eggs I get here. It worked so well in fact that I made my elder sister a set in dark oak. The one in the picture is Beech.
