That's great K! Thank you so much!Buff Brahma's
Cons about Buff Brahma's: They can be rough with other breeds. And they are a bit big to keep with bantams or smaller breeds of any kind.
Buff Brahma's are very docile birds. They love to run and play, they whistle cute sounds in your ear. They are SUCH adorable babies!!!
Buff Brahma's lay brownish eggs... (But not all) …Two out of four of my Brahma hens lay whitish chubby eggs. Meanwhile, the other two lay dark brown long eggs. Weird, isn't it?
I have not had a broody hen quite yet... But I think soon I might!
They are beautiful birds!! One being worst, ten being best, I would rate the breed 8 and a half! I would suggest them, the only way I would not suggest these birds is if they are the first breed you EVER got.
You need skill to hold a Brahma.
I hope your future with BB chickens is quite fine, just fine!

Cool. Any idea how many eggs they're born with?I've heard that some people's are still laying like almost everyday for like three years... But they should still lay a lot after that..

) They were originally marketed as a cross between rabbit and chicken, and I can see why! They are very interesting to look at with their soft fur-like feathers, black skin and they come in many different colours, adding some extra charm to one's run or garden.
She ran from the other side of the kitchen to the back door and out in less than a second, flapping her wings and making an odd roar like sound! Her poor babies just sorta stood there as if thinking "... Now what?" Before doing loud peeps to call her back, in which she rushed back in and then led them outside. Silly hen REALLY wanted her morning dustbath! She also growls at foods that are annoying to break up and looks at me to get me to help.
Picking up pieces of strawberries and walking to the 'safe distance' from the hen to call the 3 month olds over. The youngest the hen hatched and is raising are still very friendly and cuddly, I have 2 on my lap right now, but are more independent than my overgrown babies I raised.
