I have 2 and they are both very sweet and DOCILE. They aren't flighty or worried about me touching them. They make the cutest little whistle sound. This is my first time having them and I can only give my experience with them. So far, its a love match.

Here is some info about some well known chicken breeds.

Red sex link chicken

Red sex links are also know as, Golden Comet, Red star, sex link, (etc)
They are one of the top best egg layers. You should get about 300 eggs per year from this bird. Also very friendly birds! To breed this bird you will need a White leghorn and a Rhode Island red... They are also well known breeds I will add some info about them later.... Now I want some helpers! I think you should add to your red sex link info that they usually don't live very long due to laying so many eggs.

I have Buff Brahmas too.

Their leg feathers are normally the first to be pecked off. If you like them for their leg feathers, you should either hope they are at the top of the pecking order, or else keep them seperate.
One of my BB's went broody. She hatched 2 eggs. I put the remaining eggs in the incubator, and hatched some more. She accepted them, even though her other chicks were about a week older.
Also, if you breed Buff Brahmas and EE's together you may get a chick that looks exactly like a White Brahma!
