Does this look good for a day 18 egg.?

Okay guys, my cochin is sitting in this egg at day 22, I know that doesn't seem like very over due. The thing is, yesterday she pooped all over, so While I cleaned up, I went ahead and candled, since her first chick hatched early friday morning. One day early. The other egg was a bit under developed, so I figured it would be late. When I candled yesterday, I saw very rapid movement almost like breathing, towards the center of the egg. It wasn't internally pipped, so I couldn't understand that it would be breathing yet. Or trying to. Anyway, because of the situation yesterday, I checked it again today to make sure it was okay, or maybe finally internally pipped. I saw no movement at all. Nothing. Also there is this red spot, tiny and right by where the chick would pip the air cell to hatch. The vessels look receded, and I just have a bad feeling. Lavender, my cochin is insistant upon sitting on it still, and even moved it with her chick to the other side of the brooder today. I checked this evening to make sure it was sitting in hatching position and took pics. Maybe you all can make heads or tails out of it. I have been extremely tempted to pip the air cell and see if it is malpositioned or something. For now I am leaving it. She only hatched one chick, and they are buddies, so I'm really glad this was a broody hatch and not a lonely chick situation.

The red dot just below half way down. The vessels are not as red as this in person, they look empty.

Not a pip. Pushing on the membrane I believe

The sweet little pair. And unhatched baby still hanging out under mom.

Can some one please help me, it's day 18 and the only egg I have left under my broody seems to have pipped. It looks like a pip not just a crack it's a perfect circle with hairline cracks. When I candled I found it and the chick didn't seem to move at all. Could it just be resting after pipping, I really hope so, or is it dead:( ? Please help!

It could be possible that you have a chick thats hatching and resting. Most of my day 18 chicks have survived. Did you candle it after it piped? If you did it probably is now stuck in side the egg do to the change in humidity.

Yes I candled but it's ok because it's under a broody hen not an incubator and there is no progress since last night is that bad?

Do you here chirping or anything? You always could try helping it out. You just peel off the shell trieng not to hit the membrane. If you see blood stop and put it in a most towel under the broody.

keep going again in till you see blood then do it over and over until the chick is out. I hope it works!

I did this multiple times with mine and it worked except for one who was already dead. I had a chicken stuck in its shell "dead" for three days. to only hear it chirping.
