Just a heads up, if chicks die for no reason, it could be they are eating woodchips, that happened to a lady I know. I never have used chips.

I know you didn’t ask me, but unscented puppy pads and paper towels are commonly used for the first week or two.

My new hatched chicks go on to little quilts I make, but you can go to a second hand store and by table place mats. They love them. later when I brood them they go onto dirt floor.
