Enjoying the thread. Franklin, though half-joking, was right; picked the wrong bird as National Symbol. The `Peace Eagle' (so called by Native Americans as Turkeys were served when enemies met to `bury the hatchet') is The Bird.

LOVE the Royal Palm pics. Here's my 3 mo old Royal Palm. I still don't know what sex the other 2 are. Either girls or slow maturing boys.
