I keep all of my turkeys as pets but this year the girls hatched out 7 males. I sold a few to some people who wanted them as pets or as a companion to their female. I have 4 males left and I kinda thought about processing 1 but I'm not sure. I don't like Thanksgiving Turkey but someone on another thread gave me some ideas on other ways to use the turkey meat. As for now, they are only pets.

He is 7 months old.

My two are pets....It irritates my hubby a bit because they take up alot of room, but I only have two....And I like them....and I'm the one who cleans up their poop and cares for them.

So he will just have to deal with it! haha But if my Tom turns mean, which my husband has assured me will happen, then we will eat him. They are only just short of five months old. Sweet as pie right now.....

Sweet story. Do you have any pics of them? What breed do you have? They won't turn mean. I bet they are so sweet.
