Okay, I'm lost in this thread and trying to keep up... I've gotta get back in the groove.
But I have to share this good news with y'all (not all chicken related): My daughter's liver drain was not replaced, it was REMOVED!! That large duct is now clear and didn't not even need stenting!!! I am so thankful for this blessing and I know where it came from! In a little while we'll have to work on another blockage, but this one was huge and has already made a difference in her labs. AND she got her portacath and we have already been able to use it so NO MORE STICKS for my girl! How cool is that??? If she does not run a fever tonight, then tomorrow we get to go home. I have chicks this due Sun/Mon, eggs due to arrive tomorrow (Salmon Faverolles!!), and the weather is supposed to be fabulous. And I get to attend a Good Friday service here at Duke before I go home. And best of all, I get to wrap my arms around my other 5 year old who I've been missing. And Easter is Sunday!! When I get celebrate the most fabulous thing that ever happened. And I have two baby chicks to get to know, but I think they've already imprinted on my son, who took them out of the bator and has cared for them all week. Oh, well, they can be his. I have more on the way!!!!
Life just can't get any better for me at the moment. And since I've shared the bad stuff, I wanted to share this.
