Yep, but it's a mistake you will probably never make again, I know because I had an accident recently that almost made me quit chickens all together, but BYCers talked me into staying, and I'm glad I did. But I can tell you, I never let my pullets run loose in the house anymore.

I need help

I bought the orps anyway...what am I going to do with orps?!?!? Well, hopefully I get my 2 black hens then I need to find someone that wants orps here

maybe I will have to keep a trio

. That is it, I am not allowed to buy any more eggs! I have the 2doz+ orps coming next week(?), a dozen bantam ameraucana that should be at the PO today, got a box of surprises coming from crunchie next week or so, and some d'Anvers coming from boggy bottom bantams whenever he can fit me in. Geez, and I still haven't separated my own, and I WILL have to hatch some from there to see what I get

Soooo Sad, with a side of happy (Oh, now I'm confused!)

Woke up this morning to 3 BLRW babies and two pips, Sadly on of the pips had the beak sticking out with membrane stuck over it and didn't look right. Well the membrane had dried on the beak, and suffocated the baby
