OK you sharkies, I need prayers and good hatching vibes from you all.

I just won all 3 of BareGretchen's Polish auctions!!!! I was working in the Clean Lab all day, where we don't have computer access, so I just put in my maximum bids and kept my fingers crossed.

When I got off at 4, I ran to my 'puter and saw that I had won them all. No sniping either, I declared my intentions early.

When I saw that I had won them all, I decided to go ahead and order the Brinsea octopus (or what ever it's called) incubator. 299.00, but with what I've lost on eggs this year, I could have bought a couple

. So, totally worth it if it helps these guys hatch.

So, hopefully next year, the Shark Pool will have Buff laced Frizzeled Polish in it !!!!!

ok, my hatch for this week is done. one silkie with the right number of toes- other one dead in shell- surprise- it was another showgirl

. I ended up with 1 silkie, 2 columbian wyandottes, and 2 marans. last hatch is due next monday- 14 blr (mine)plus 4 white wyandottes. going back and forth about selling my current rooster and keeping back 2 rooster chicks for next yrs flock. this would be his son +/- the one I kept from big boy for my project.

I got chicks from texas (ameraucana) and they came in one day, paid a bit extra for shipping....I am so hoping they make it

I am not so sure about one of the two orps that I hatched, the chicks that hatched 2 days after it are more vigorous
