I didn't like that about eggbid, either. I would prefer breeder entries only and not tons of mass hatchery entries.

However, it does look like a nice, easy to navigate site and I noticed Nava jumped right in. So I suppose I will have to keep and eye on it. Will we be able to banter and hasle each other on the auctions?

Thanks to you all for your great suggestions about the BLRWs. I will try and get pics this week-end. Just hatched 1 Ameracauna and 1 Maran out of 26 eggs...

I guess the PO has done it's usual bang-up job.

You're right, can't snark eachother or harrass eachother on that site

I am also done for the year. I now need more pen space for all the egg>chickens I've hatched.

I spent hours cleaning up the patio and put the old furniture out in front of the house...GONE in 7 minutes!!!!! The set required 6 cushions every 2 years, too much money in maintainence. So I'm getting a new set that is wood slats that have no cushions. And they're gliders.

I thought I was done hatching, but looks like I'm going to drag it out another couple of months.

I need to get pics up of some of the chicks in the brooder. I have a very full brooder at the moment.

I have BLRW from Chickendad incubating right now. Frizzle bantam cochins from KellyHM on the way and pips&peeps eggs coming after some of her hens get over being broody. Hopefully will be done after August. Hubby is getting a little tired of chicks in the dining room.

Oh, and the little BLRWs that weren't growing or feathering out correctly do seem to have picked up a bit since I have started the vitamins and scrambled eggs. They are with all the other new chicks and you really can't tell they are a month old. At least their feathers have started growing in correctly. I wonder what their problem is.
