Yup. You should send him pics of your partridge for his opinion. He will be brutally honest.
Done and he and I are in agreement. Tom has a good hen line and Jamie has a good roo line. That's why I want some of Tom's, his are a little more rounded which I like, may make for breeding issues, UGH AI, never had to do that, hope I don't have to. Notice in the picture I posted the roo has GREAT color, but he's a little too big. The hen is a good size, but her color isn't as nice. I have three pullets as well and two of them are okay (much better than a lot I have seen) and one has very good color and is compact. I plan on hatching some chicks from her and the roo together. I have my fingers crossed that Tom is going to sell me a started pair, he told me to get back with him in January. Which I have marked on my calender, as not to forget! I would love to get my hands on a really nice barred roo to breed to the partridge hens as well for a crele project...have you seen that thread as well?
No, Though i've seen alot of back and forth about what actually makes up crele genetically
