Funniest thing happened yesterday. I looked at my beautiful splash orp from Nava and the first thing I thought of is "Natalie" So it is. (That's how I name my chickens) I have 3 salmon favs from last year, and wanted to name them all french. The first one was Solanje. The 2nd was Cherry. The 3rd-I don't know why-was named Spook. Go figure. The egg/chick from the car - I had a vision and it said name her Elsie.

aww thanks Carrie ( eh hemmmm 12 LF and 4 Split lav eggs went out today ) yes Im feeling better just bummed and had dental work done this am so-my face is recouping LOL I have a meeting to go to until 930ish-so I can only stay on for a few minutes. It's weird going down to the coops and pens and seeing her missing-I have 50+ birds but I am very familiar with all and just by glancing I know if someone is missing! SO its weird is all...My DH disposed of her for me last night or today I didnt ask after I did it-Thanks guys you are the best

Guess what! I just brought home the most handsome cockerel from perfectfarmsbantamcochin (joanie_of_maine). I got a black mottled cochin boy to go with my girl. He is SOOOOO cute! I think I am going to name him Charlie (her name is Lola)... Don't know if you guys have any kids that watch that show.

Also, got my silkie eggs from ultraclassic1, so those will go in tonight!

Funny thing is I had wanted to raise some to sell but everyone wants the older ones-POL ones and Im not willing to give up any of my girls that are laying-I tell everyone they can buy chicks if I hatch them for them and so they are willing to do that but I wil be raising them for the first 6-7 weeks until they can pick them up-sad part is-is when I incubate-I want them all well -I guess I ll have to weed out-I got rid of 13 this weekend

helllo helllooo helloooo Mary whats your humidity? I added water 3 days ago and it went to 51 now its at 37 and will let it keep dropping until 28-30 ish by then it should be lockdown SAT?? yahha
