Im going to have to look up what a wood duck looks like:-) and the pheasant-good for you selling so many...Gosh If I had more room and $ Id be doing the same thing too...LOL...I need another coop before the new babies come too..Oh DH is guna kil me...haha

By the way, Nat, two of your mix babies are wiggling like crazy in my bator now. And the silkie I thought pipped last night had not. Just a spot on the egg that is laying against the carton and it looked like a pip.

And Lovin, of yours, the only one I've seen wiggle so far is one BMF. I think one of BR/EE's may be wiggling, but it's faint.

Ever so often I think I hear a peep, but not sure if it's really coming from there.

Back from Easter Egg hunt and family gathering #1, this weekend.

Sooo, I checked my mail and had a very nice letter from a man I met at a poultry event a couple of weeks ago, I was talking about wanting to stop "dabbling" and raise specific quality breeds, as chickens are quickly becoming more of a passion then a hobby. Maybe someday showing? He sent me a copy of Feather Fanciers and a note that asked if I was interested in a trio of show quality young black wyandottes, that he would love to get me started. I had no clue, but he was the president of Feather Fanciers last year and raises show quality black wyandottes that place quite well in area shows. Amazing how giving chicken people are. Every day I am amazed of the spirit within the poultry family.

Oooo, wood ducks. Totally cool.
